“QUINTA BOTANICA” is a privately owned estate and is located in the sunny south of Portugal only 20 minutes away from Faro airport towards direction Spain. It is located in an area of the Algarve with few tourist and only 3 km. from the beach and the Atlantic ocean. The lush gardens of 12.000 m². appear sometimes as a jungle or a park and have several ponds and fountains. This is where you find peace and nature and where you can enjoy rest only to be disturbed by rare birds, crickets, chameleons, turtles, frogs, the civet cat or wild rabbits.
The stress of the world seems to be very far away when you enjoy your peace and rest with a good book or just enjoy the gardens. If it gets too hot there is always a shady place to find somewhere in the garden or you can cool of in the swimming pool.
QUINTA BOTANICA has its own private tennis court, sauna, Spa and there are 4 large swimming pools as each villa has its own private swimming pool.
Somewhere on Quinta Botanica, hidden in a quiet corner somewhere in the park, is also a Spa-Jacuzzi which was designed for physiotherapy. Surrounded and in the middle of ivy and plants you can relax your body and have it massaged on all sides by jet streams. After 15 minutes you feel reborn when you come out. (Because of the several ponds and deep swimming pools Quinta Botanica is unfortunate not suitable for small children.)
Quinta Botanica is located in a quiet countryside area at the end of a dead-end street. Because this area is a green-zone it is forbidden to construct new houses. The air is very pure because the Ocean wind keeps the air clean and no polluting industry is allowed in the Algarve. This also means that during the night the miracles of the universe can be observed in all its glory. Nearly every day the Milky Way can be seen or stars falling down.
Quinta Botanica is a good starting point for walks along the nearby wine- and orange yards or to start a bicycle trip. By car there are many opportunities for longer trips through the Algarve or even to Seville (2 hours) or Lisbon (3 hours). For some sport fun you can play tennis on the private tennis-court where you can also play basketball, badminton or volleyball. There is also a secluded area to play table tennis and darts. |

The Villa has a large living room with modern furniture and sliding doors to an enormous terrace of 250m². On the terrace you find a small pond and an extra dining table under a Gazebo. In another corner of the terrace you find a special barbeque area (also with a marble dining table) for summer night dinners.
In the living room is also a double-sleeping couch where extra persons can sleep if more than 6 guests are staying.
There is a modern open kitchen with all modern facilities and is fully equipped with dishwasher, large refrigerator, cooker with oven, toaster, coffeemaker, microwave etc.
The villa has 4 bathrooms, one including a Jacuzzi.
There is 1 very large master bedroom with a King size double bed that has a bathroom en-suite with Jacuzzi and a large private terrace with stunning country and garden views.
There are 2 more spacious bedrooms with bathrooms en-suite. One bedroom has a King-size double bed and the other bedroom has 2 single beds.
All rooms have air-condition, split heating, HD-LCD-TV’s and DVD-players.
QUINTA BOTANICA has lots of possibilities to keep the body in shape. Besides the swimming pools and bathing in the sun there is a private tennis court where you also can train basketball, volleyball or badminton. You can play table tennis or Darts or jump up and down the Trampoline.
If you get too tired of all this action you might want to relax in the SPA - JACUZZI which is hidden somewhere in a green corner of the garden. Let your body enjoy a 15 minute massage by 13 power jets and you will feel reborn when you get out.
Some of these activities you might have to share with other guest as there are 3 more objects for rent at the estate.
From the estate there are nice walking and bicycle routes in the direct rural surroundings. If you feel too lazy you can just relax in the sun or read a book near a pond and enjoy and watch every now and then the fishes, frogs, turtles or birds that come to visit.
As one of the guests mentioned: Quinta Botanica is an experience to take in. The blue sky, the sun, the garden and the peace of nature in this luxurious oases. This is how paradise should be. |
